SHARJAH – Sharjah Airport has announced the launch of its Home Check-In service, giving travellers the convenience of completing all check-in formalities without setting foot in the terminal until passport control.
Designed to streamline travel and reduce airport wait times, the service aims to offer passengers a smoother and more comfortable experience.
Home Check-In service
Available for all passengers departing from Sharjah Airport, the new service can be booked via the airport’s website, the SHJ Home Check-In mobile app, or by calling 800745424. Travellers must make a booking at least eight hours before their flight’s scheduled departure.
A dedicated Sharjah Airport team will visit the passenger’s home, office, or hotel to complete check-in, issue boarding passes, and collect luggage for transport to the airport. The service caters to both business and leisure travellers seeking speed and convenience, particularly during peak travel seasons.
How much does it cost?
Packages are priced according to the number of bags:
- Coral Package: Dh145 for one to two bags
- Silver Package: Dh165 for three to four bags
- Gold Package: Dh185 for up to six bags
Additional baggage can be added for Dh20 per piece, subject to the airline’s baggage policy.
Where is it available?
In its initial phase, the Home Check-In service covers selected areas across the city of Sharjah.
The initiative forms part of Sharjah Airport Authority’s ongoing strategy to implement smart solutions and advanced technologies that enhance operational efficiency and passenger comfort.
